New Year's Resolutions
Snuggle my dogs more. Ha ha ok not sure that’s a possibility based in reality. It’s basically all day everyday of here.
But for real, every year when I try to think of New Years Resolutions I get overwhelmed. It’s like trying to name your band. So many options, where do you even start?
I think being in a profession where your goals are SO big and can sometimes feel out of your control and out of your reach, resolutions can be a bit MUCH. Many years I simply ignore them all together. So this year I’m gonna break it up a little. Set some goals that are more attainable.
Ahem. Ok. This one is V simple. Drink more water. Yup. That’s it. Drink more water. I am BAD at this. I need structure. So I’m starting to set my alarm on the hour to chug a glass of water. It’s helping so far. So we’ll see!
Some of you know I’ve recently started the Keto diet. I’ve been on it a few more and have absolutely LOVED the results. More on that later, but it’s even more important to drink water on this diet because you can become dehydrated easily if you’re not careful. All the more reason to drink up!!
I love the S’well water bottles because they keep your cold cold and your hot hot! For like, 24 hours which is cool :) This is my favorite because Carrara Marble EVERYTHING.
My second resolution is a little more ambitious but it’s rooted in something I can control. Like I said, being a signed artist is a lot of waiting on your record label, waiting on your agent, waiting to hear back about that big pitch. There’s so many moving pieces and most of the time I feel like I’m the last to know anything. So in an effort to reclaim a little authority over my own life, I’ve decided to do this. This, right here. Talk to you more. Whoever you are, I’m so glad you’re reading this by the way. So yeah, blogging is something I’m gonna do in 2018! Am I late to the party? Hell yes. But who cares? I’m excited about this new little venture and about more ways I can connect with y'all. So comment below and let me know what you want to see more of!
